Opening an account: HiFX Foreign Currency Exchange

What do I need to do to register with HiFX?


  1. Please read our Terms & Conditions. Complete and sign the Application Form. If more than one person is applying, all applicants will need to sign the Application Form.
  2. Call the Private Client Enquiries Team and provide the supporting documentation as directed.
  3. Alternatively, send ONE form of your current identification documents e.g. passport, photo ID driving licence etc. and ONE form of your proof of address e.g. bank statement, council tax bill or utility bill (not a mobile phone bill) which must be less than 3 months old, (photocopies are acceptable).
  4. If you would like another person to give instructions on your behalf, please ask them to complete the relevant section on the Application Form. Anyone listed in this section will need to send in copies of ONE proof of identification and ONE proof of address.
  5. When taking copies of the necessary supporting documents please ensure that the photograph and/or text is clearly legible.
  6. Return all of the above documents to HiFX by fax on +44(0)1753 859169. Alternatively, you can scan and email them to info@hifx.co.uk or post to Morgan House, Madeira Walk, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 1EP.
  7. Once we have received your signed Application Form and supporting documents, your application will be processed. If successful, your foreign exchange dealing account will be opened and your allocated dealer will contact you to discus your requirements.
