The Migration Institute of Australia is the professional association for Australian Migration service providers worldwide working together for the benefit of Australia.
The MIA represents almost 2,000 registered migration agents who provide professional migration services to families, businesses and industries throughout Australia.
They liaise with government departments on behalf of their members providing a forum for communication and a platform for submissions on aspects of migration policies and programs.
All MIA members undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD), a training program initiated by the MIA to promote a high standard of excellence in education and services in the Migration Industry.
They support their members to assist them deliver the highest level of services to their clients. At the same time they administer standards for the conduct of their members who commit to operate in accordance with a Code of Ethics in addition to the Code of Conduct that all Registered Migration Agents must adhere to.
