People could benefit from making an international money transfer to France as the country has been recommended to property investors.

Ed Stansfield, property economist at Capital Economics, said that along with some of the Nordic areas of Europe, France is certainly looking attractive to property investors.

Mr Stansfield added that these markets "would stand out in terms of the economic prospects, the pricing, the size and liquidity arguments".

Germany was also highlighted as a potential area for investment due to the fact that is it is likely to be "one of the best performing economies in Europe over the next couple of years".

Earlier this week, a freelance property journalist said that Brits could benefit from currency exchange rates when looking at property overseas.

Marc Da-Silva suggested that people from the UK consider areas which use the US dollar or have currencies which are linked to the dollar's currency exchange rate.
