International money transfers to France could prove popular with people looking for an environmentally-friendly home.

A new eco-friendly property development has been launched in the La Camargue nature reserve and national park.

The area is the largest river delta in western Europe and was declared as a reserve in 1972.

Steven Worboys, managing director of leaseback property experts Experience International, commented on the new homes: "Already an established tourist destination with the French, the area is fast becoming popular with British holidaymakers and second property buyers not least due to the diverse fauna and flora, stunning vistas over the Rhone delta and ease of access from the UK and by air, rail and road."

The houses make use of renewable energy and waste water recycling methods to keep down energy bills.

Using an independent foreign exchange broker to make an international money transfer to France could help lower the costs of buying a second home abroad
