Making an international money transfer to France could be of benefit to people who are looking to retire somewhere quiet and peaceful.
According to the expatriate advice website Shelter Offshore, the European country offers the "perfect country for those who want a quiet life where there is little in the way of stress caused by location or infrastructure issues".
Anybody who has a high standard of French and is willing to make an effort to get to know their neighbours and locals, will be able to "buy in to a very laid back and secure lifestyle in France", the site added.
However, other people may want to consider making an international money transfer to Belize if they are looking for a more exciting retirement.
According to Shelter: "Belize has many benefits but it would never suit a quiet life loving person with no practical abilities".
