International money transfers could help Britons considering a move abroad to plan financially.
A recent article published in the Daily Mail highlighted the difficulties faced by couples who have moved abroad in search of a dream life in the sun.
In order to tackle the problems which arise, expatriate advice website Shelter Offshore recommended that couples make emotional and financial plans for living overseas.
A "very firm plan", which "should cover the main aspects of your relocation and go as far as covering the essential financial factors", was one of the suggestions put forward.
Making international money transfers through a foreign exchange broker could also help to tack some of the hassle and cost out of living overseas.
To help with the emotional side of things, regular open discussions were recommended to make sure both partners were ready for the change in lifestyle.
