People living in the UK could be enjoying life abroad for as little as £1,000 a month, an article has suggested.
The expatriate website Shelter Offshore has advised Brits who are bored with the UK not to let finances be a barrier to moving overseas.
According to the website, countries such as South Africa, Cyprus and parts of South America could offer property bargains in enjoyable areas with amenities close by.
The website advised that people hunt out employment in a suitable sector before moving abroad in order to ensure that they have an income.
Alternatively, some Brits might want to consider renting out their property in the UK to generate an income.
For those looking to save extra cash, a foreign exchange broker could be essential when renting out a property in the UK.
Moving the rent with an international money transfer through a broker instead of a regular bank could save around four per cent in foreign exchange fees.
