A growing number of people are showing interest in moving abroad, a new survey has revealed.
Conducted by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), the research revealed that around 42 per cent of Britons over the age of 55 were considering moving abroad.
Despite this, four in ten thought that foreign exchange was not as important once someone was resident in a country.
This suggests that many could benefit from researching foreign exchange brokers, such as HiFX, which could help them save money when buying an overseas property or drawing a British pension.
It is not a great surprise that the promise of better weather was the most common reason why people were increasingly looking abroad.
The report revealed that the majority of people who wanted to relocate were considering doing so within the next five years.
