Expats wanted for life abroad programme

People, who are currently involved in the process of moving abroad to the US, could receive a little bonus and five minutes of fame thanks to a new property program.

House Hunters International is a US version of Britain's A Place in the Sun and is currently looking for people to take part in its next series.

Anyone who is looking for a home overseas or who is already involved in the process of moving money abroad to buy their property could apply to appear on the show, and win $1,500 (£971), according to expatriate advice website Shelter Offshore.

The program will look at the many different aspects involved in buying a home abroad, including the differences in property prices and the various ways in which a deal can be made.

Househunters, those who have recently moved abroad and estate agencies are all on the producer's wish list of people they would like to feature in the programme, the expatriate site reported.
