Holiday home money transfers 'may rise'

Brits who have made money transfers to assets in Cape Verde may benefit from an increased transport links within the republic.
Property firm Noscasa recently drew attention to Cape Verde Fast Ferry's proposed travel routes that are set to launch next year.
Now people can travel more easily between the region's inhabited islands, which may have a positive impact on its economy.
Investors who have made international payments to mortgages for holiday homes may see an uptake in rental demand, due to an expected rise in visitor numbers.
Paul Akwei, managing director of the property company, said: "With the launch of the ferry service we expect to see a corresponding rise in demand for holiday accommodation, particularly on some of the less developed islands."
In other news, financial advisor Shelter Offshore recently named France as a popular location for British property buyers, due to the country's agreeable weather and low living costs.
