Expats who make regular money transfers to their overseas companies may see an increase in trade by next year, it has emerged.
Travel management company Egenica recently claimed that the number of entrepreneurs flying abroad to work is set to rise in 2010, which could have an impact on the assets of overseas investments that depend on business travellers.
Christophe Peymirat, managing director at the company, expressed his optimism that there would be a return of confidence in the worldwide economy over the next 12 months.
He said: "We would expect to see the market begin growing within six months of the end of economic recession.
"Globally, we're hearing that quarter two in 2010 will see a recovery in travel demand."
In related news, the recent American Express Global Business Travel Forecast indicates that business airfares are set to increase next year in line with demand.
