Moving abroad has a positive impact on expats' youngsters, according to new research.
A survey by NatWest International Personal Banking (IPB) recently revealed that the majority of UK emigrants, who may have made money transfers to fund their lives overseas, state that leaving Britain has enriched their offsprings' childhoods.
Some 82 per cent of parents believe that their youngsters are more self-reliant following their family's move abroad, while 76 per cent state that the impact of new cultures benefits their young ones.
A further 70 per cent said their children are receiving a better education in their new countries.
Dave Isley, head of NatWest IPB, said: "Most UK expats are experiencing far-reaching benefits, such as an improved quality of life.
"Parents are reporting that their children are learning to be more independent and learning from the different cultures they are being exposed to."
In other news, Brits may soon be able to attend free seminars in the UK that feature pension advice, which may interest those planning on moving abroad after they retire.
