Falling unemployment rates in the US may indicate that the country's economy is strengthening, according to industry experts.
Recent research by the US Labour Department reveals that the number of people out of work in the region fell in July, which may interest Brits who are considering transferring money to assets in the country.
Figures show that unemployment stood at 9.5 per in June but this fell to 9.4 per cent last month.
In addition, the average working week increased from to 33.1 hours up from 33 hours, indicating that more work is available.
Sung Won Sohn, professor of economics at Cal State University Channel Islands, said: "The economy is in the process of bottoming; the dawn of an economic recovery is here."
Elsewhere, European Statistics monitor Eurostat recently released figures that show the French and German economies grew in the second quarter of this year.
