Britons relocating overseas have been urged to prepare their children for their moves abroad.
Expat resource Expatica.com recently released tips aimed at UK emigrants who are intending to transfer money to fund their new lives abroad.
The portal has encouraged Brits to put measures in place so youngsters make smooth transitions to their international surroundings.
Children may adjust more quickly if they feel their opinion is valued in regard to decisions that affect them, such as which schools they will attend.
Expats making international payments to move abroad are also advised to give children information on their chosen country, as this can boost familiarity with the destination and help them settle in.
In addition, UK emigrants may like to set up internet connections so youngsters can keep in touch with friends and family in the UK.
In other news, Spain's Ministry for Regional Policy recently revealed that Brits hold the largest number of the country's council seats as compared with other foreign nationalities.
