Expats interested in making money transfers to overseas assets may like to look to Asia.

Property resource Nubricks.com recently stated that the area could appeal to Britons looking for business opportunities.

Chintan Mahida, marketing director for the portal, explained that Thailand and Malaysia are potentially lucrative locations in terms of commercial property investments.

In addition, China was also highlighted as a destination for those planning to make international payments to acquire new assets.

Ms Mahida, said: "Out of all the places in the world, Asia seems to be the best suited for growth at the moment.

"From a stock market perspective it seems to be doing better as well because they are still on for growth this year."

Meanwhile, the strong euro may boost the number of Brits choosing to favour destinations outside of the eurozone, such as Morocco, Turkey and Tunisia, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organisation.
