'US popular for foreign exchange transactions'

The US is proving a popular destination for Brits making foreign exchange transactions, it has emerged.

Overseas resource thetravelmagazine.net recently revealed that the country is continuing to draw UK visitors and potential expats, despite the weakening of the pound during the last 12 months.

Sharron Livingston, editor of the portal, stated her belief that the US is a hit with Britons using foreign exchange services as the destination offers affordable lifestyles and activities.

"No matter what the pound does, because the USA has so much to offer, Brits will always be drawn there," she said.

"Shoppers love New York, families love the many theme parks and huge open roads are ripe for those that love fly-drive holidays."

According to the resource, popular cities for Brits staying in the US include New York, Boston and Orlando.

In other news, comparison website Travelsupermarket.com recently urged potential expats to consider the cost of living in their new countries prior to moving.
