'Cape Verde money transfers easier'

Buying investments in Cape Verde has become more streamlined thanks to a new system, it has emerged.

The country's government recently implemented an online facility that allows people to fill-in important documentation on computers, property website Homesgofast.com reports.

Previously those wishing to make international money transfers to the islands had to complete a host of documents, which was time consuming.

However, the computerised system ensures that investors can submit the necessary paperwork in a matter of hours.

The facility is also expected to boost communication between the authorities and Brits living on the islands.

"Another key benefit of the system is that the government can communicate much more easily with the residents of the country as well as expats," said the portal.

In other news, Cape Verde will soon have additional flight connections to Europe as Air Portugal is set to increase the number of planes travelling to the country.
