A couple have enjoyed a crime-free existence so far after moving to Valencia, it has been noted.

Speaking to the Sun, Kerry Pipkin explains that she and husband Pete moved to Spain last year following two years of unsuccessful job hunting after he was made redundant.

Living in a small inland village, away from the Costas, Kerry states there are a few home comforts she misses, such as family, friends, cheddar cheese and a choice of restaurants.

However, she states there are a number of advantages to their new lifestyle, including a feeling of security.

"There is no crime. No-one can remember anyone being burgled in the village - ever - no hoodies, no pollution, no parking problems, no noise - unless you count goats and church bells."

Expats who have moved abroad and who still have financial commitments in the UK could find that they are able to make their payments using international money transfer resources.

The province of Valencia is the biggest of the three which make up the Valencian community.ADNFCR-1995-ID-18937458-ADNFCR
