The government has created a "tax time bomb", so it might be the ideal time to escape the gloom of Britain in search of sunnier climates, it has been suggested.

In order to try and repair the current economic crisis, taxes may have to raise, asserted Shelter Offshore.

On top of this, the pound has fallen significantly, meaning it could be more expensive to emigrate, it continued.

However, it could still be the ideal point to pack up and move abroad, the website continued. This could mean using a money transfer system to buy an overseas property.

As well as the possibility of better weather, some foreign exchange rates could make the pennies go much further, the property site added.

So long as Brits have a realistic outlook about living in another country, then their way of life could improve, Shelter Offshore concluded.

"Why stick around and wait for tax to rise … when you can leave today and emigrate to avoid the even worse recession that's undoubtedly imminent?"
