Expats looking to invest abroad may find that Portugal's financial climate offers many business opportunities.
Information portal NuWire Investor recently stated that Brits making international money transfers to the region will benefit from the ease with which they can set up businesses.
In addition, homes are more affordable compared with other European destinations and the country has seen a vast increase in the number of resorts offering properties for sale in order to meet demand.
Celeste Soares, international sales consultant for Imatico Real Estate, told the portal that expats intending to make international money transfers should consider investing in the area.
"For people that have funds available Portugal is a very attractive place to invest - especially in the Silver coast - due to the very affordable prices and warm weather," she noted.
Elsewhere, investors may soon be looking for property in rural Bulgaria as house prices fall in the area, according to Write About Property.
