Turkey is a popular location for Britons using foreign exchange services, according to industry experts.
UK investors are arriving in the country in greater numbers due to improved travel links and favourable foreign exchange rates, Artemis Travel reports.
Nigel Harris, chief executive of the company, explained that the increasing number of Brits in the area would help to boost the economy of the country, making it even more attractive to investors.
"There are an awful lot of people who have bought accommodation and actually live in Turkey who have family and friends going out there," commented Mr Harris.
Recent figures released by M&S Money have revealed that 36 per cent of Britons decided to spend time in Turkey due to the strength of its currency.
Turkish lira sales reflect its current popularity as they rocketed by 46 per cent in the first four months of this year, the company reports.
