Individuals hoping to make an online money transfer that will secure them a property investment in France may find one expert's advice helpful.

Peter Mindenhall, a researcher at IPINglobal.com, explained how homes in the country remain popular with Brits due, partly due to the stable market.

He noted that, when this is coupled with the government's attempts at encouraging foreigners to purchase abodes in the nation through tax breaks, France is an appealing destination for second home buyers.

Investors may be drawn to the nation as it has witnessed a capital growth that has outperformed the UK in the last five years.

However, Mr Mindenhall commented the French government has recently "incentivised" property investment for the long-term.

Lease-back systems with tax breaks and a "well-structured" rental system are both said to have helped deter the idea of making financial gain through short-term buying and selling.

Those interested in finding a home in France were given tips by Mr Mindenhall on how to make securing a property pain-free.

The expert noted that people need to be patient and ensure their paperwork is all "in order".

"Mortgages are slow to be approved and the volume of paperwork required is extensive," Mr Mindenhall commented.

However, people were informed that this makes for a more stable market and offers people a "safer investment environment".

Mr Mindenhall remarked how the French property market "has not seen the galloping price rises that Spain and Portugal did".

As a result, it is a more reliable bet for investors "albeit over the longer term", he noted.

According to the financial specialist, the plans to increase the wealth tax threshold next year will benefit investors who are making cash in France.

However, those with a limited flow of funds will experience little change, Mr Mindenhall claimed.
