Entrepreneurs may want to consider making a money transfer and investing in the property market in Brazil, as it is said to be one of the "most resilient in the world".

Editor at BuyAssociation Paul Collins claimed the sector has remained steady in the past couple of years compared with other global housing economies.

He commented that there has been a strong growth in sales of abodes, as well as positive signs in the rental area.

Mr Collins stated that this is "a sign of a healthy amount of movement in the market and a high level of demand for modern properties".

It was suggested earlier this year by the expert that Brazil is currently one of the top investment destinations for overseas homes.

According to Mr Collins, this is due to the economy proving "very strong", as government measures to mitigate the global downturn worked.

Now may be a good time to invest in the country, as forthcoming events such as the World Cup in 2014 and Olympics in 2016 are expected to boost the economy further.

It was noted that Brits have plenty of opportunity should they wish to snap up an abode in the country, with rising inbound tourism making this seem more attractive.

By 2020, Mr Collins claimed Brazil is predicted to be the fifth largest economy in the world, which may make purchasing a property increasingly appealing.

Those looking to invest in an abode were advised that ready-to-build projects are a good option, as they provide individuals with the chance to buy a home at prices similar to those offered to off-plan purchasers.

Mr Collins explained it also means people can "start making returns within a shorter timeframe than may be the case with a more traditional off-plan project".
