Britons planning to emigrate abroad should consider heading to Egypt, it has been suggested.
According to UK-based overseas property portal Homesgofast.com, people planning to emigrate from the UK could make a money transfer to Egypt, where they could buy themselves a bargain in the property market.
Off-plan properties in Egypt offer "exceptional value for money", explained Homesgofast.com chief executive Nicholas Marr.
However, he warned anyone planning to make a money transfer to Egypt in order to purchase a property should be careful to do their research before handing over any cash.
"Building standards vary considerably and I would want to see previous work undertaken by that company or have some sort of reassurance regarding the standards that they are seeking to achieve," he explained.
The Global Property Guide reported in February 2009 that Cairo in Egypt was one of the cheapest cities in the world for property, making it ideal for emigrating Brits looking to find cheaper property than currently exists in the UK.
