Investors may be keen to transfer money overseas after hearing about a new development in the seventh district of Paris.
Sextant Properties has announced that a couple of units are still available in the restored 17th-century complex that is located between the rue de Sevres and the rue Vaneau.
Starting at €3,710,000, (£3,226,620) the apartments are described as "something special" as it is highly unusual for new developments to be built in this part of the city.
Set on nearly four hectares of land, the site dates back to 1632 and has been restored by an expert historical monument architect.
It now contains student accommodation, shops, high-end offices and retirement dwellings as well as residential buildings.
"The apartments will be in a sober style, integrated into the immediate environment, and present different architectural characteristics depending on their orientation," the guide states.
Those units facing the rue Vaneau will be in traditional Parisian style with stone facades and coloured doors and terraces, while the rue de Sevres buildings will have reflect the surrounding Haussmann architecture.
In addition, there will be 14,000 sq m of green spaces that combine the new and historic buildings together, with wrought iron gates, paved pathways, trees and lawns all featuring.
A bowling green reminiscent of the typical Parisian squares of old will also be a highlight of the development.
Promising an attractive interior, the announcement stated: "The entrance halls will be particularly refined, with materials chosen for their beauty and permanence, displaying elegance and sobriety."
Two different design options are available, with buyers able to select either a classic or contemporary look for their reception rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.
The seventh district of Paris is home to the iconic Eiffel Tower and Musee d'Orsay.
