Spanish golfing property proving popular

Demand for international money transfers could be set to rise in Spain following news that golf properties are proving increasingly popular with investors.

Locally-based agent Taylor Wimpey de Espana claimed that real restate situated on golf resorts has been attracting a great deal of attention of late, with a 121 per cent increase in enquiries.

The firm explained that their ranges of new-build golfing properties in popular holiday destinations such as Mallorca are popular, despite concerns surrounding the future of the market.

"Without doubt in a holiday home destination such as Spain, properties on golf resorts offer more for the buyer," said sales director Ignacio Osle.

"You tend to find a greater range and quality of facilities such as the club house, restaurants, shops and leisure amenities and of course the golf courses themselves."
