Britons hoping to make the most of Brazil's foreign exchange rate when investing in a property in the country should consider the area around Natal as their destination.
Property investors could find that ploughing their money into this area gives the best return, as the region is currently undergoing regeneration.
According to property specialists uv10, Natal acts as a hub between Europe and South America and marks the area in which federal investment is taking place in the form of new roads being built.
Pipa, just south of Natal, is considered the best place for investment, as tourists flock to the area.
"By far the best area is Pipa, which is 80 km south of Natal. At the moment it is an hour's drive and they are building a big access road so it should be quicker and there you've got really good infrastructure," commented Samantha Gore, sales manager at uv10.
"You've got loads of tourists there already so it is great for rentals," she added.
Now may be the best time to take advantage of Brazil's exchange rate, as the country's currency dropped against a basket of major global currencies recently.
