Overseas property buyers are homing in on Asian markets, according to recent comments.

Paul Collins, editor at BuyAssociation, said that there has been "quite a bit of growth in the far-eastern and Asian markets".

He added: "There seems to be buyers with cash to spend and they are looking at their overseas property markets as being a good place to invest."

However, he noted the investors are also starting to recover to other parts of the world, such as Europe and the US.

The comments follow research from Knight Frank, which found that almost 40 per cent of the world's most exclusive residential property markets increased in value during 2010.

Out of the ten biggest risers six were in Asia, with Shanghai coming out on top with a 21 per cent increase.

Using a foreign exchange broker to transfer money for property payments can help avoid unnecessary expenses by allowing you to access some of the most competitive currency exchange rates on offer.
