International money transfers to Spain could be helping people to snap up Spanish properties.

According to recent reports from the government, published by AFP, the economy is due to benefit from a recent boost in the real estate market.

Indeed, sales of Spanish homes climbed by 5.9 per cent in 2010 after three years of sharp decline following the economic crisis.

Using a foreign exchange broker to make an international money transfer to Spain could help keep the cost down of buying property in Spain by avoiding high foreign exchange fees often charged by banks.

Now could be a particularly good time to make an international money transfer as the market is taking time to come to terms with the excess of stock and the government is struggling to convince investors that it is capable of bringing its budget deficit under control without a bailout from the International Monetary Fund.
