People looking to move to Australia or New Zealand might want to set up international money transfers to help cover the cost of private health insurance.
New arrivals in New Zealand are advised to take out an insurance policy becaue they are unlikely to be able to join the public healthcare system without a work permit of at least two years.
Meanwhile, those expatriating to Australia are likely to find long waiting times in the state system, the Telegraph explained.
Many residents turn to private healthcare to avoid this; something expatriates might also want to consider.
However, medical insurance is not always cheap and if you are transferring monthly installments from overseas the costs are likely to be even higher if you don't find a competitive rate of currency exchange.
Using a foreign exchange broker to make international money transfers to Australia will avoid this unecessary cost.
