International money transfers to Malta could help expatriates to enjoy the perfect retirement.
According to The Malta Times, the island is an ideal place for people to retire to, thanks to the warm weather.
However, a range of other factors, including low crime rates and good medical facilities, are also tempting people to the island, the paper noted.
The comments come after International Living Magazine recently named Malta as the third best place in the world to live in terms of quality of life.
First and second places were held by the US and New Zealand in the magazine's rankings.
Meanwhile, a British expat told the Times that "every day is like a holiday" on the island because of the "history, sunshine, serene sailing and crashing waves along rocky shores".
Using an international money transfer service to move funds to Malta can cut costs by providing people with a competitive currency exchange rate.
