International money transfers to the Caribbean could be on the cards for Britons who are looking to buy a slice of luxury.
A number of villas have come up for sale at Sugar Beach in St Lucia; one of very few developments to be situated within a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The 130-acre resort offers properties priced from $2.4 million (£1.53 million) to $9 million, which have views across the Val des Pitons to the Caribbean Sea.
International money transfers could help to keep down the cost of buying such a house by avoiding high foreign exchange fees often charged by high street banks.
Furthermore, foreign exchange brokers will be able to offer a competitive rate of exchange on the transfer.
Lisa Basire, marketing director at Sugar Beach, commented: "We are very pleased with the reception homeowners have given the Rainforest Spa.
"While they've always found Sugar Beach a relaxing environment, the Rainforest Spa adds a new level of luxury and appeal to the resort."
