International money transfers could help to lower the cost of moving abroad for the one in three Brits who are interested in doing so.

Polls conducted by news source Gallup found that one in three Brits would like to live abroad permanently, but not all do so.

The percentage of Brits who want to leave the UK has remained steady at 33 per cent since before the recession.

Shelter Offshore, the expatriate advice website, has suggested that many are just waiting for the right point in their lives to make the big change.

When the moment is right an international money transfer could help to lower the cost of moving and purchasing property overseas by avoiding high foreign exchange fees often charged by high street banks.

The expat advice website found that most people who are actively considering living overseas understand the amount of research, effort and planning that are required to make a success of emigration.
