Golfers could be tempted to make international money transfers to Spain as the country has been highlighted as a favourite golfing destination.
Indeed, the country takes 35 per cent of the golf tourism market in Europe, according to recent research conducted by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators.
Furthermore, a survey by Taylor Wimpey de Espana discovered that 78 per cent of the developer's clients are active golf players, suggesting that proximity to a course is important to a large number of property buyers.
Comments from Victor Sage, Taylor Wimpey's sales and marketing director, could encourage Brits to make international money transfers to Spain to buy property in the region.
Victor Sage, sales and marketing director of the property developer, commented: "The Spanish golf resorts are second to none.
"They offer home owners and tourists alike, superb golfing amenities on their doorstep plus many championship and celebrity designed courses."
