Britons considering escaping the British economic downturn and making an international payment to move elsewhere might want to consider opting for somewhere in Brazil.
According to international recruitment consultancy Michael Page, the country is less likely to see its economy drop rapidly in the coming years than countries that have been harder hit by the recent recession.
Speaking to the Independent, Oliver Watson, regional managing director of the firm, said that people looking to find an opportunity abroad should examine a country's gross domestic product and look at their economy linked to natural resources.
"Brazil won't see stellar growth over the next year, but it should be steady. It has an immature and developing market and isn't exposed to the kind of debts that developed Western countries have suffered from," he stated.
Earlier this month, the Mirror reported that Hollywood actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt would be moving to Brazil for a while for film-making purposes.
