International money transfers to Brazil could be on the rise, following a positive result in the country's election.

Samantha Gore, sales manager for Brazil estate agent uv10, has claimed that the recent election of Dilma Rouseff as the country's first female president, is good news for property investors and the country as a whole.

She said: "Serious overseas property investors are always concerned about the health of a nation, both politically and economically, and a general election can be a turning point - for better or worse."

People who are considering buying a property in Brazil may want to consider making an international money transfer through an independent foreign exchange broker in order to save money.

Ms Gore added that that recent improvements in housing schemes, a surging GDP and the discovery of a substantial new oil field all mean that "things could not be rosier for Brazil in 2010".
