Making an international money transfer could help Britons to find their dream retirement lifestyle.

Rhiannon Davies, director of ShelterOffshore.com, has suggested that Brits often move abroad in order to find a more relaxed way of life.

She said: "Anyone who is seriously thinking about moving abroad has a bottom line common denominator which is that they want to improve their life in some way.

"British retirees often want to live in a country where the weather is better, the pace of life is more laid-back, the cost of living is more affordable and where there is more emphasis on enjoying life rather than living to work to pay off the credit card, mortgage or debt which seems to be the 'normal' state of mind in the UK nowadays."

Last month, the NatWest International Personal Banking Quality of Life report revealed that 71 per cent of retired expats are happy with their decision to live abroad.
