UK Government House price Figures
Today we saw the UK government announce that house prices continued to rise in April. According to official figures house prices were up 11.3% in April on a year on year basis. They also showed that the average house price is now at £209,454.
This data is in contrast to other recent data that had suggested that house price inflation was starting to cool as a result of the four interest rate hikes since August last year.
